A Little Bit About Me...
SAM DIMITRIUS
Hi there, my name is Sam, and I am a singer songwriter from just North of Boston. I love Jesus, I love music and I love people. Music has been a fundamental part of my life by shaping how I think, how I’ve grown, how I process my relationships and the world around me. I began playing the piano when I was young, and I was obsessed with how music made me feel. I loved soundtracks, movie scores and instrumental songs that tell a story through sound.
As I grew up, I began to connect with song writers like John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Christian artists like Phil Wickham, Brandon Lake and Chris Tomlin. I started to write my own songs so that I could express what was going on in my heart and mind at the moment.
Writing and performing music is like “show and tell” for me. I love getting someone to understand a profound thought or idea, feeling I am having, or even a truth about God through music. I am an over-thinker and writing has been away for me to capture some of that.
Since 2022 I have been busking/gigging full time as well as honing my craft as a writer and producer. I spend most of my gigging time in downtown Boston at Faneuil Hall, at numerous residential buildings for private events through SoGoodSessions, or at any Tuscan Brand location. (Tuscan Market, Tuscan Kitchen, Tuscan Village)
New Music 2024
Looking forward to Spring 2024, I will be releasing a self-produced Five-Song EP called “Thought of Mine”. It’s a brief diary of 2023 and where my feelings have been. I’m looking forward to seeing how this batch of music connects with the audience I have begun to develop through busking as well as my audience on TikTok Live. It’s scary releasing songs that are honest and mean something to me but I’ve been told those are the ones people want to hear.
